ECARA Fundraiser

We are seeking Dive Industry support to donate auction items / door prizes for the Eastern Carolina Artificial Reef Association (ECARA) Fundraiser to further artificial reef development in Eastern NC. Because of the monies raised from donations last year we were able to sink a 150 foot barge off our coast! The Prize(s) that you donate will directly benefit the Artificial Reef Program and Eastern North Carolinas marine environment. This year's event will be held on March 3, 2012 at the Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium.

We would like to ask you to donate an item for our Silent Auction. This item could represent hundreds of dollars in auction funds raised to benefit Eastern North Carolinas marine environment. Please be sure to include any marketing collateral, brochures, and relevant details about the item you donate, so we can include an accurate description for potential bidders. ECARA works with local partners to obtain materials, including vessels such as the Spar, to sink as Artificial Reefs. Likewise we are actively engaged in raising awareness about the importance of artificial reefs to the marine environment, and to the economy of eastern North Carolina. The Eastern Carolina Artificial Reef Association is a 501(c)(3) entity; your prize donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
